Welcome to St. John's Episcopal Church. We are a dynamic congregation devoted to fellowship, spiritual development, and worship in the Anglican tradition.
If you're looking for a church home and you want to learn about what it means to be a Christian, make new friends, and make a difference in the world, we say to you what Jesus said to his disciples: "Come and see!" We'd love to see YOU!
Our worship services are Sundays at 9:15 am. All baptized Christians, from all denominations, are invited to join us for Holy Eucharist. Everyone is welcome to come to the communion rail and receive a blessing. Coffee hour follows immediately after church, offering a chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
For those who want a mid-week "re-charge," an Evening Prayer service is offered each Wednesday at 7 pm. This simple service takes only about 20 minutes, but offers a wonderful chance to spend quiet time in a spiritual space with friends.
We are located in Clinton, Michigan, at 122 E. Church Street. Parking can be found behind the church on Franklin Street in the Middle School parking lot.
Programs include food and clothing drives for local charities, international relief projects, a Halloween community outreach, and an active women's group (the Episcopal Church Women or ECW), to name just a few. Fellowship opportunities include monthly euchre nights at Lyster Hall and semi-monthly Dinner and a Movie nights.
We also are a part of history! St. John's is one of the oldest wood frame churches east of the Mississippi river. Founded in 1835 by William Lyster, it is the oldest Episcopal church building in Michigan. Click here to take a photo tour of our historic church.
